I’ve never done Reiki before, how does it work?
Reiki is an ancient healing modality that originated in Japan.
Reiki practitioners use their palms to transfer “universal energy” to the client to promote emotional and physical well-being.
Our bodies consist of seven chakras (Crown, Third Eye, Throat, Heart, Solar Plexus, Sacral, and Root). Chakras are energy points within our body that should remain open and aligned. Our chakras correspond to bundles of nerves, major organs and areas of our energetic body that affect our mental and physical health.
During your Reiki experience my job is to provide a safe space for you to feel calm and relaxed, allowing you to release anything that no longer serves you.
The session will take 45 minutes to an hour. During your session, I will play soft healing music as I cleanse your energy with sound, sage, and my palms. I will explain the flow when you are here and you will leave feeling lighter and relaxed.
